Pakyong, June 8th (IPR): Under the banner, Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the “Antodaya Campaign” in Pakyong District was organised today.
The program was based on a growth monitoring drive for “Identification of Severe Acute Malnutrition Children” and their referral and treatment by joint supervision of field functionaries.An awareness campaign on Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana”, to identify first-time mothers and lactating mothers, in order to provide them cash incentives of Rupees 5000/- (in three instalments) being provided directly in the bank/post office account was also conducted.
The campaign was attended by Ms Anupa Tamling-ADC Pakyong, SDM, M.O, Doctors from Central Referral Hospital Tadong, CDPO- Pakyong along with Supervisors, for new registration of PMMVY beneficiaries and health check-ups of SAM child by the Medical Officers.
