The Commerce & Industries Department, Government of Sikkim, is organising Sikkim Utsav, 2025, at Dilli Haat-INA, New Delhi, from 12th-14th December, 2025.
The delegation is led by Ms. Karma D. Youtso, Secretary; Shri M. Ravikumar, Director, MSME; Shri Tshering Topgay Bhutia, Director, DHH; Smt. Chanda Rani Rai, MD, GFPF; Smt. Radha Pradhan, MD, Temi Tea Estate; Shri Hari Prasad Kharel, MD, SIDICO, Shri J T Tonyot, Chief General Manager, SIDICO, Smt. Champa Sharma and Shri Hemant Khatiwada (Joint Secretaries), Shri Bikash Sharma, Gangtok Coordinator, SEED CELL; along with six staff members and 109 entrepreneurs from Sikkim. The event provides a significant platform for entrepreneurs from Sikkim to showcase their products at the national level.
The Secretary of the Commerce & Industries Department graced the occasion as the chief guest. She personally interacted with each entrepreneur, encouraging them to showcase their products with confidence and offering valuable guidance and motivation. Her presence not only boosted the morale of the participants but also reinforced the department's commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs in gaining national level exposure.
The Sikkim entrepreneurs participated with great enthusiasm and yielded positive outcomes. Many participants reported significant product sales and enquiries, with successful networking with potential buyers and partners for collaboration. The entrepreneurs expressed deep gratitude to the State Government and the Commerce & Industries Department for providing this crucial opportunity to showcase their products on such a grand stage. They highlighted the exhibition as an invaluable step in expanding their reach and establishing a presence at the national level.
