Honorable Governor of Sikkim Mr. Om Prakash Mathur has conveyed his best wishes to all the teachers on this auspicious occasion of Teachers' Day.
In his message, the Hon'ble Governor said, "I extend my heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all the teachers of Sikkim state.
This day is the great educator, philosopher and former president of India Dr. Sarvapalli is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Radhakrishnan ji, whose thoughts and vision made education not only a medium of knowledge, but the basis of character building and nation building.
Today as we march forward with the shared goal of developed India @2047 & Sunolo, prosperous & Samarth Sikkim, let us salute all the teachers who are shaping this dream. You all teachers are the light pillars of society, giving generations culture, knowledge & knowledge They have been providing discretion.
On this occasion, I urge you all to pledge to build an India by embracing education as a more empowering, inclusive and ethical medium, which is not only empowering and inclusive, but also an amazing combination of modernity and culture.
