Today inaugurated Seva Pakhwada-2025 organized at Utsav Plaza, Maitri Manjari, Ridge Park, Gangtok, Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim Mr. Om Prakash Mathur participated as Chief Guest. Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang along with state ministers, legislators, public representatives, senior administrative officer, beneficiaries and thousands of citizens were present on this occasion.
This event was dedicated to the 75th birth anniversary of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, whose life is a symbol of service, cleanliness and public welfare. The program started at Nehru Bust Point in the presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister with the Governor dedicated the green flag to the resource recovery vehicles and vehicles of transport department to the public.
Moreover, 75 lamps were lit at the Utsav Plaza Maitri Manjari, symbolizing the 75th birth anniversary of Hon'ble Prime Minister. In this order, the Governor observed the orchidatorium, displaying diverse species of orchid.
The structure not only reflects the state's biodiversity and cultural beauty, but also an innovative effort towards boosting the tourism industry, which will help empower the state's economy.
Ticket system and QR code were also released on this occasion.
After entering the stage, Hon'ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur announced the formal launch of Seva Pakhwara-2025. He called on all citizens of the state to participate in fulfilling the resolution of developed India by making service a public movement. He specially urged participation in the "One Day, One Hour, Together Labor" program held on 25 September 2025 at 8am.
Following this, the Governor gave the oath of cleanliness to the present crowd, pledging to make cleanliness an integral part of lifestyle.

The life service of Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi is the model of service. He gave the world a Yoga Day by keeping public interest above all. Seva Pakhwara is the medium of conveying their resolution of clean, healthy and empowered India to the public. Sikkim is becoming an exemplary state towards cleanliness today and becoming an inspiration for the country. "
In the program, many departments of the state provided benefits to different sections of society distributed by the Governor. In these, the Urban Development Department distributed honour and appreciation letters, Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojana Card etc. to cleaning friends.
In this order, many inaugurations and releases were also completed by the Honorable Governor. In these, the release of turmeric, Prime Minister Vanadhan Yojana Herbal Tea etc under Sikkim Vanadhan Yojana.
During the program, a virtual dialogue was also held with Hon'ble Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi on the topic "Healthy Women, Empowered Family" dedicated to Matrashakti, in which dignitaries present including the Governor participated.
