Notice of Publication of Draft Electoral Roll for all four constituencies under Soreng District
Soreng, July 6:
The Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of 05-Rinchenpong Constituency, 06-Daramdin Constituency, 07-Soreng-Chakung Constituency and 08-Salghari-Zoom Constituency under Soreng District have issued Notice of Publication of Electoral Roll in Draft for the information of electors under Soreng District.
As per the Notice, the electoral roll has been prepared in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, and a copy thereof is available for inspection at the office of the respective EROs, and at the office of the concerned BLOs of the respective parts during office hours.
The qualifying date for the preparation of the electoral roll is 01 July 2026.
If, with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the roll or any objection to the inclusion of any name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it should be lodged on or before 04 August 2026 in Form 6, Form 7 or Form 8, as may be appropriate.
Every such claim or objection should either be presented in the ERO’s office or to the office of the concerned AEROs or sent by post to reach the designated address not later than the aforesaid date.
Any eligible citizen who is going to attain the age of eighteen years on any of the qualifying dates in the year 2026, namely 1 January 2026, 1 April 2026 or 1 July 2026, may also file his or her claim for inclusion of his or her name in the electoral roll in Form 6, in advance, starting from the date of this notice. The same shall be considered and decided in the respective quarter of the year with reference to the respective qualifying date.
For the convenience of the public/electors, the QR code of the draft Electoral Rolls and for ASDD voters is also attached along with the Notice.
