The Hon'ble Speaker of Sikkim Assembly, Shri M. N. Sherpa and Hon'ble Vice President Smt. Rajkumari Thapa today paid a courtesy call on the Hon'ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lokbhawan, Sikkim.
During the meeting, the Hon'ble Speaker invited the Governor to attend the Budget Session starting from 20 July 2026 and address the Sikkim Assembly.
The Hon'ble Speaker informed the Governor about the proceedings of the Budget Session of the 11th Assembly (4th Session, Part-II) for the financial year 2026-27.
The Governor accepted the invitation and gave his blessings.
The meeting was attended by the Assembly Secretary Shri Lalit Gurung, Director General of Karma T.G. Bhutia and the Hon'ble Speaker's Private Secretary Shri Adarsh Chhetri.
