A delegation of trainee officers from the Indian Information Services (IIS) 2025 batch met with the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Lokbhawan today.

During this visit, the Hon'ble Governor was welcomed by the delegation of trainee officers from the Indian Information Services (IIS) 2025 batch at Lokbhawan.

Officers from various states of the country are currently on a study tour across the country as part of their 'India Darshan' program, and they have come to Sikkim for this tour.

During this meeting, the trainee officers had an extensive discussion with the Hon'ble Governor and received guidance from his long-term experiences. The officers shared their thoughts during the conversation.

The Hon'ble Governor interacted with the officers and had a meaningful conversation.

The Governor discussed in detail with them the major areas of the state, particularly the tourism model of Sikkim, environmental conservation, and the disciplined 'cleanliness' policy here. The Governor wished for a bright future for all these officials who are taking steps towards nation-building. The officials also expressed their deep gratitude to the Honorable Governor for the guidance and hospitality they received during their visit to Sikkim.
