On the occasion of the Budget Session (Financial Year 2026–27, 11th Assembly – Fourth Session, Part-II) of the 2026 Sikkim Legislative Assembly, Hon'ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur addressed the Assembly today. In his address, the Hon'ble Governor highlighted the economic development of Sikkim state, achievements in agriculture and rural development, education sector, tourism, health services, women and youth empowerment, and environmental achievements. He said that Sikkim's development is continuously progressing towards realizing the vision of a prosperous and empowered Sikkim and will make a meaningful contribution to the National Vision of Developed India 2047.
