The delegation of "Badminton Association of Sikkim" paid a courtesy call on the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur;
Invited as Chief Guest for the 49th Junior National Badminton Championship
Today, the delegation of "Badminton Association of Sikkim" including the President Shri Jacob Khaling and the Mayor of Gangtok Municipality Smt. Chiring Palden Bhutia paid a courtesy call on the Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur at Lokbhawan.
The delegation also included the Executive Members of the Association.
During this meeting, the delegation formally invited the Hon'ble Governor to attend the 49th Under-19 National Badminton Championship (Under-19) to be held in the coming November.
This event is being organized for the first time in the state where Sikkim is hosting a national level badminton competition.
The Honorable Governor extended his best wishes for the successful organization of this National Championship.
