A delegation of government primary school teachers from various districts of Uttar Pradesh paid a courtesy call to Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, at Lok Bhawan.
A delegation of teachers from government primary schools from various districts of Uttar Pradesh paid a courtesy call to Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, under the banner of 'Basic Education Movement of India' (Non-Governmental Organization) at Lok Bhawan today.
These teachers from Uttar Pradesh are currently on a two-day study tour in Sikkim. During the meeting, the teachers interacted with the Honorable Governor and shared their experiences related to the unique culture and natural beauty of Sikkim. During this visit, the Governor guided the teachers on topics such as organic farming, peace-loving state, disciplined traffic, women's participation, cleanliness, and sensitivity towards the environment. The Governor also inspired the teachers to continue serving the nation. The program was conducted by Smt. Veena Singh.
On this occasion, the teachers from Uttar Pradesh welcomed the Honorable Governor and expressed their gratitude towards him.
