Nutrition cell Gangtok district marked closing of three days anemia camp at Singtam Bazaar, Rabdang Rural Project.
The camp was attended by Assistant Director Ms.Jyotshna Khatiwara, CDPO Ms.Lhamit Lepcha , and Nutrition educator Ms. Sumira Sharma ,supervisor Ms.Yamuna Rai alongwith Lab technician from Singtam district Hospital, AWW and AWH.
The identified anemic individuals of all three projects were given with Nutri hamper containing rich source of iron in order to increase the HB content and to curb existing anemia.
This is an intensive camp led by the department to decrease the prevalence of anemia in the state. Likewise , the same camp would be conducted in all the districts.
