‘Aama Haru Ko Pasal’ Inaugurated at Dalep Phatak to Promote Livelihood Opportunities for Local Women
Namchi, September 30 : The Hon’ble MLA of Temi-Namphing inaugurated ‘Aama Haru Ko Pasal’, a dedicated marketplace for local mothers and women, at Dalep Phatak under Namphing GPU today.
The inauguration was attended by the BDO, Temi, political representatives, including Chairpersons, the CLC President, OSD to the Hon’ble MLA, and representatives from the Zilla and Gram Panchayats.
The initiative, undertaken by Namphing GPU under the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) fund, aims to create better livelihood opportunities for local mothers and women by providing them with a dedicated space to market and sell organic and locally produced vegetables and other local produce.
The establishment of ‘Aama Haru Ko Pasal’ is a thoughtful community-focused initiative aimed at promoting women’s economic empowerment, strengthening local livelihoods and encouraging the marketing of locally produced goods. By providing a convenient platform for women to sell their produce, the initiative seeks to support their income generation while also promoting locally grown and organic products within the community.
The initiative reflects the commitment of Namphing GPU towards creating sustainable livelihood opportunities and strengthening grassroots-level economic participation among local women.
