Fire Safety Awareness conducted at Soreng District Hospital.

On day four of ongoing Fire Service Week 2026, Soreng Fire Station conducted a very impactful fire safety awareness session at Soreng District Hospital. The program was attended by Chief Medical Officer(CMO) Soreng District Hospital Dr. Smriti Rai, GDMO Soreng, MOs, Doctors, Dentists, Nurses and staff of Soreng District Hospital. The team from Soreng fire station was led by Officer in Charge, SFO Swarnim Tamang.
The session focused on giving practical guidance on proper usage of fire extinguishers, different types of fire and ways to extinguish them, different types of rescue carry, basic fire science and general fire prevention measures with respect to hospital environment.
Overall the session was very engaging in which staff actively participated and thanked the fire team for such expertise and guidance on fire safety measures. The session ended with a short question answer session.
