Successful Conclusion of Poshan Maah 2026
Rinchenpong, 09.10.2026: Poshan Maah 2026 was successfully concluded today on 09.10.2026 at Rinchenpong Secondary School with active participation from School Teachers, Students, Community Members, and other Stakeholders.
Throughout the month, various activities were conducted on the theme “HAMARI AANGANWADI, HAMARI ZIMMEDARI” with focus on the 5 Core Pillars:
1. Dietary Diversity and Adequate Protein Intake
2. Fresh, Hot Cooked Meals at AWCs
3. Community Ownership and Accountability
4. Nutrition and Early Childhood Stimulation for Holistic Development
5. Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana - PMMVY
More than awareness camps, cooking demonstrations, growth monitoring sessions, and community meetings were organized across the district.
The programme focused on improving nutrition outcomes for Children, Adolescent Girls, Pregnant Women, and Lactating Mothers.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to all GPUs of Soreng District, Health Officials, Line Departments, ICDS Project Staff, and Anganwadi Workers for their dedicated efforts in making Poshan Maah 2026 a grand success.
