District Collector Visits EMRS Parkha
Pakyong, August 4: District Collector, Pakyong, Ms Pari Bisnoi, IAS, accompanied by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Pakyong), Mr Nil Kantha Bhandari, and Welfare Officer Ms. Sunita Dahal, visited Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Parkha on today.
During the visit, District Collector interacted with Principal, Ms. Usha Sharma, and reviewed the overall functioning of the school, including academic performance, administrative matters, and the ongoing construction works within the campus.
The District Collector also held a separate interactive session with the students to understand the strengths and challenges of the school from their perspective. She encouraged the students to share their views openly and assured them of continued support for their holistic development.
Emphasizing the importance of students’ overall well-being, Ms. Bisnoi stressed the need to incorporate regular mental health sessions, drug abuse awareness programmes, Artificial Intelligence (AI) classes, and career counselling sessions to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and guidance required for their future.
The visit reaffirmed the District Administration’s commitment to strengthening the quality of education and ensuring the holistic development of students at EMRS Parkha
