Gangtok, 4 September 2025:
As part of the three-month Saturation Campaign on Financial Inclusion, the State Bank of India (SBI), as the Convenor of the State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC), Sikkim, organized a Mega Camp at Ranka, Gangtok district today.

A total of 163 participants from Ranka and nearby areas actively took part in the camp.
The programme was graced by Shri Surinder Kumar, Under Secretary, Government of India, as the Chief Guest. Other eminent dignitaries present on the occasion were; Shri Goda Ravi Shanker, General Manager, RBI, Shri Mahendra Pradhan, Director (Finance), Government of Sikkim, Shri Gopal Lama, Assistant General Manager, SLBC (Sikkim), Shri Sonam Bhutia, Branch Manager, SBI Ranka
During the camp, enrolments under various financial inclusion and social security schemes were facilitated.
The camp successfully reached out to the local population, spreading awareness and ensuring coverage under the flagship financial inclusion schemes of the Government of India.
