The monthly meeting cum awareness program of the Nasha Mukti Cell was held at the Cooperation Department, Head Office, Sahakari Bhawan, on January 03. The meeting was chaired by the Registrar, Cooperation Department.
The meeting was attended by all core members of the departmental committee along with officers and staff of the department, conducted by the Member Secretary of the Cell. The Cell has been notified by the Department as per the requirements of the Nasha Mukt Sikkim Abhiyan – Sahayogi Karmachari programme.
The Member Secretary briefed the gathering through a presentation on the topic touching all the aspects , highlighting points and information for general awareness of officer and staff including drivers of the department.
During the meeting, the Chairperson explained the role of Sahayogi Karmachari and called for enhanced coordination among the core members.
It was further decided to organise an awareness camp by inviting experts from the Social Welfare Department and counselling officers to understand various approaches, actionable points, and to enable the Cell to plan its future course of action
