The Hon'ble Governor of Sikkim, Shri Om Prakash Mathur, today visited Yakla Pass, situated at an altitude of 14700 feet, and met with the officials and jawans of the Indian Army.
While continuing his efforts to boost the morale of the security forces in the border areas, the Hon'ble Governor interacted with the jawans of the Indian Army. During this visit, the Governor appreciated the country's defenders in the extremely challenging and highly altitude-laden region.
During this visit, the Governor also inspected various developmental works and projects handed over to the Border Road Organization and the Indian Army.
