Bihar State Foundation Day was celebrated in Sikkim Lokbhavan today.
The initiative has been initiated by the Government of India, which aims to strengthen the unity and integrity of the country and celebrate the culture of 'Unity in Anekta' as a celebration. Bihar State Day was organised in this order.
The officials of Lokbhavan in the program conveyed best wishes to all the communities of Bihar residing in Sikkim on behalf of Hon'ble Governor Mr. Om Prakash Mathur.
On this occasion highlighted the rich culture and glorious history of Bihar. Along with the significant contribution made by the Bihari community to the economy and social development of Sikkim over the past several decades was appreciated.
Honorable Governor, Bihar, Lieutenant General Syed Ata Hasnain's video message was presented during the program. In this message, he expressed his gratitude for the Bihar State Foundation Day being celebrated in all the Lokbhavans. At the same time they appreciated the contributions of Bihari brothers and sisters living in other states and understood their importance.
Residents of Bihar living in Sikkim were specially invited to today's program.
