Coordination Meeting for the upcoming GDFA C Division League, Inter-School U-15 Boys, U-17 Girls Leagues
Gyalshing, 28 JUNE:
A coordination meeting of GDFA was held on 27th June 2026 under the guidelines of SFA & AIFF with various clubs for CRS registration of club players with AIFF in Order to participate in the district and state level tournament without hindrances. The clubs are requested to complete the CRS registration within a month or before the start of the upcoming League.
The discussion of GDFA C division league plus inter school league under 15 boys and under 17 girls league was also discuused to be held by the end of august . The main focus was given on the inter school league tournaments and for the development of grassroot level football.
The meeting began with welcome notes from Mr Namgyal Bhutia, President, GDFA. He also gave overview of upcoming C Division League and Inter School tournament. It was followed by open house discussions and vote of thanks.
The meeting was attended by Ms. Nikjey Lamu Bhutia, Additional Director, Sports, Youth Affairs Department, Mr Rajen Tamang, Joint Secretary, GDFA and all executive members of the GDFA along with Physical Education (PET) teachers from various schools.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment from the department, association members, and school representatives to work together for the systematic growth and development of football in the coming years
