Lower Syari
Under the aegis of Golden Jubilee celebration and as a part of the 3rd phase of celebrations, students of Government Lower Secondary School, Lower Syari were taken on a field trip to Orchidarium on 18th October 2026. The students visited the Orchidarium providing them with a wonderful opportunity to explore, observe and learn beyond the boundaries of classroom.
The school has been initiating innovative approaches in celebrating its 50th year by placing the students at its foci. The Golden Jubilee Celebrations was initiated with a common vision of the attainment of Learning Outcomes and creating students for a skilled Sikkim. More of this will be seen as the school rolls out it’s 4th phase of celebration. Although the celebration has been subdued but it has been aligned with the attainment of curricular goals of NEP 2020. The Educational Excursion offered students refreshing experiential learning, encouraging metacognition and enriching their experience through firsthand exposure. The school gives its sincere gratitude to our HMLA Shri Tenzing Lamtha and special thanks to our ward panchayat, Mrs Swarnim Lama for her generous support and thoughtful gesture which made this educational outing possible and memorable.
The school sincerely appreciates the continued support and cooperation of our public representatives in creating meaningful learning opportunities for our children.
