One Day Advocacy Programme on e-Vidhya Sikkim DTH Channels Held at PM SHRI School, Rhenock

Pakyong, February 12: A One Day Advocacy Programme on e-Vidhya Sikkim DTH Channels was successfully conducted today at PM SHRI School, Rhenock by SCERT in collaboration with the Office of the District Education Officer, Pakyong, with the objective of strengthening digital learning practices and improving administrative efficiency in schools.

The programme was graced by Shri Bhakti P. Sharma as the Chief Guest, who addressed the gathering and highlighted important administrative issues and the need for effective implementation of educational initiatives.

The welcome address and hosting of the programme were carried out by Deputy Director Mrs. Gita Sharma, who emphasized the role of digital platforms in enhancing classroom teaching and learning.

The programme was attended by Deputy Directors from the District, Duga BAC and Rhenock BAC, Assistant Directors, AEOs from block offices, BRC and CRC Coordinators from various blocks and clusters, as well as Principals, Headmasters and Headmistresses representing 105 schools under Pakyong District.

During the technical sessions, SCERT faculty Shri Dhiraj Sharma highlighted the importance of e-Vidhya as a valuable digital learning platform, acquainted participants with the installation of the e-Vidhya App, and demonstrated its effective use for the benefit of students in the teaching-learning process. Shri Lewang Sharma highlighted the effective use of EMMS by block officials and Heads of Institutions and also demonstrated how AI tools can be used to create animated videos and other digital resources to support effective teaching and simplify administrative tasks.

The District Education Office, Pakyong, expressed sincere gratitude to the SCERT resource persons, block officials, BRC and CRC Coordinators, and all Heads of Institutions for their active participation and cooperation in making the programme successful. Special appreciation was also extended to the Principal and staff of PM SHRI School, Rhenock, for their excellent logistical support.
