Daramdin constituency
Advances vision of a “ Jhopari Mukt Sikkim under SGAY Schemes Daramdin 6 Oct 2026.In line with the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang and the Governments commitment towards a “ Jhopari Mukt Sikkim”houses were successfully constructed and handed over to beneficiaries across various GPUs of the Daramdin Constituency under Sikkim Garib Awas Yojana(SGAY)scheme.
The initiative was carried out under the guidance and support of Hon’ble MLA and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly,Shri Mingma Narbu Sherpa,aimed at providing safe,permanent and dignified housing to economically weaker families. The program was also graced by:

Under the SGAY Scheme,beneficiaries were provided not only the newly constructed houses but also with essential household items including flat screen television,tables,drawers,Sofas and other basic necessities to support comfortable living.
