Aama Sashaktikaran Yojana: Cheque Distribution Programme Held at Temi BAC to Promote Women’s Empowerment
Namchi, October 3 : A cheque distribution programme under the Aama Sashaktikaran Yojana was successfully organised at the Block Administrative Centre (BAC), Temi, today, with the objective of extending financial assistance to eligible beneficiaries and strengthening women’s socio-economic empowerment.
The programme was graced by the Hon’ble MLA of Temi-Namphing Constituency, Shri Bedu Singh Panth, as the Chief Guest, who distributed cheques to the eligible beneficiaries under the scheme.
The programme was attended by the OSD to the Hon’ble Area MLA, Chairpersons, Hon’ble Zilla Panchayat Members, Panchayat Presidents of all five Gram Panchayat Units (GPUs) under Temi Block, Panchayat Members, CLC President and other dignitaries.
The initiative aims to provide financial support to eligible beneficiaries, promote economic independence among women and enhance their socio-economic well-being through Government assistance.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Block Development Officer (BDO), Temi, with the officers and staff of BAC Temi making extensive arrangements and ensuring effective coordination with elected representatives, beneficiaries and other stakeholders. Their collective efforts and dedicated support contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.
The programme concluded on a successful note, with active participation and cooperation from elected representatives, officials, staff, beneficiaries and members of the community.
