APS to Hon’ble Chief Minister Inspects Ongoing Construction of Pakyong District Administrative Centre
Pakyong, July 20:
Shri Bishal Sharma, APS to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Sikkim, visited the ongoing construction site of the new District Administrative Centre (DAC) at Pakyong today to review the progress of the project.
He was accompanied by Shri B.B. Subba, Social Worker; Smt T.D. Venchungpa, Retired Headmistress; Shri D.R. Gurung, Retired Teacher and ; Shri D.B. Gurung, Retired Government Employee; Shri P.B. Gurung, Retired Government Employee; Site In-charge Shri Jayanta; Engineer Shri Kuber Luitel; and Supervisor Shri Kisan Gurung.
During the visit, the team inspected the construction work and received updates on the progress of the project from the engineers and site officials. The visiting delegation emphasised the importance of completing the project within the stipulated timeframe.
Once completed, the new District Administrative Centre will serve as a modern administrative hub, housing various government departments under one roof. The facility is expected to significantly enhance the delivery of public services by enabling citizens to access multiple departmental services conveniently and efficiently, thereby improving governance and public service delivery in Pakyong District.
