Namchi, 31 January :
Five-day Farmers’ Training and Skill development Programme under the National Livestock Mission (NLM) was successfully conducted at Namchi District, wherein 25 farmers were trained on important topics such as Goat Farming, Dairy, Piggery, Poultry, Fodder Development, and various ongoing Government Schemes. The training sessions were conducted by the concerned doctors Dr. Suman Chettri, Dr. Saraswati Ramudamu, Dr. Roshan Pirthawar, and Dr. Siddhant Pradhan.
The programme was successfully organised under the guidance of Add Director Dr. Lata Rai and Superintendent cum JD Dr. Preyna Gurung. The valedictory programme was graced by the Honourable Chairperson, AH & VS, Madame Doma Lepcha, during which certificates and mineral mixture were distributed to the participants, thereby making the programme informative, inspiring, and encouraging.
