Block-Level Awareness cum policy distribution Programme under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) “Meri Policy Meri Haat” conducted at Pakyong Yakten GPK.

A Block-Level Awareness Programme on Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) under the theme “Meri Policy Meri Haat” was conducted at Pakyong Yakten GPU, organised by the Agriculture Department, Pakyong District.
The programme was graced by the presence of Smt. Rebecca Gurung, Deputy Director (Agriculture), Pakyong, and Shri Gagan Gurung, Agriculture Development Officer, Pakyong, Smt Dil Kumari Subba, District Coordinator, Future Generali along with Agriculture Inspectors, the Block Technology Manager (BTM), Assistant Technology Managers (ATMs), Field Assistants, and departmental staff also took active part in the event.
A large number of progressive farmers attended the programme, where awareness was created on the benefits, claim procedures, and farmer responsibilities under the PMFBY scheme. The interactive session provided valuable clarification on insurance enrolment, coverage, and the Meri Policy Meri Haat initiative, which aims to ensure transparency and accessibility of insurance policies to all enrolled farmers.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and reaffirmation of the department’s commitment to extend crop insurance benefits to every eligible farmer in the district.
