Namchi, 3 February:
Agriculture Department, Namthang block conducted one day programme on Distribution of micro irrigation system under PMKSY- PDMC Scheme at Payongram ward Tangzi Bikmat- GPU.
The programme was graced by the guest of honour Shri. Dhandup Sherpa (OSD), Mrs. Doma Lepcha, Chairman of Animal Husbandry, Shri. Chatraman Rai, Krishi Prakosta, Shri. Anil Shanker, Zilla Panchayat, Mrs. Meena Sharma, ADO Namthang along with Agriculture Inspectors, Office and field staffs.
The programme was initiated by welcome speech by Mrs. Chhongmith Lepcha (AI) and briefing on PMKSY-PDMC scheme by Mrs. Meena Sharma (ADO) followed by the short speech by Shri. Dhandup Sherpa (OSD). Total of 100 farmers were benefited. The programme was accomplished successfully. Lastly ended by vote of thanks by Mr. Kamal Gurung (FA).
