Gyalshing District Achieves 100% Completion of Agri Stack Digital Crop Survey for Kharif Season 2026 in 24 Days.

Gyalshing District has successfully achieved 100% ground completion of the Agri Stack–Digital Crop Survey (DCS) on 14th September 2026.

Executed in a high-intensity 30-day deadline strategy that began with all the maps being uploaded on 22nd August 2026, the survey marks a major milestone for digital agricultural planning in mountain terrain.

Led by field functionaries of the Agriculture and Horticulture Departments, the operation spanned 42 Revenue Blocks across the Gyalshing, Dentam and Yuksom sub-divisions. Teams navigated severe monsoon conditions, dense forests, steep slopes, and landslide-prone routes to survey 40,117 plots.

District Survey Performance Metrics:

*Total Plots Assigned: 40,876

*Plots Surveyed & Data Uploaded: 40,117

*Inaccessible / Unsurvey-able Plots: 759 [1.85%] (due to extreme terrain)

*Survey Duration: 24 Days

*Coverage Area: 42 Revenue Blocks / Villages

Reassigned Plots: Field resurveys for 844 reassigned plots have been physically completed and approved by the supervisors and 7 rejected plots were surveyed by the verifiers and approved by the supervisors.

The successful execution of this massive digital mapping project reflects the exceptional grit, coordination, and technical skill of our 264 surveyors, 28 supervisors, and 2 district administrators. The Agriculture & Horticulture Department extends its deepest gratitude to the entire Team Gyalshing for delivering comprehensive crop data under harsh monsoon and difficult terrain conditions
