Gangtok, 10 January 2026:
A specialized three-day training on “Conduct Rules and Disciplinary Proceedings” was held at Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Gangtok from January 7 - January 9 2026 for Joint Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of various departments under the State Government.
Shri C.L. Sharma, SCS, Deputy Secretary-cum-Faculty Member, ATI, Gangtok, served as the r4esource person for the training.
Joint Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries who often serve as the Inquiring Authority or Presenting Officers during departmental enquiries were trained to deal cases of violation of conduct rules and departmental proceedings thereafter.
During the inaugural session Shri. Mahesh Sharma, Director, ATI urged the participants to make the most out of these three-day training courses and ensure that every departmental proceeding is carried out as specified procedures.
A mock enquiry was also conducted with role play by the participants on the concluding day.
