ATI Sikkim Organizes Workshop on iGOT–Karmayogi Platform Implementation
The Administrative Training Institute (ATI), Sikkim on 11th February, 2026 conducted a specialized workshop aimed at strengthening the implementation of the iGOT (Integrated Government Online Training) Karmayogi platform across the State. The initiative forms a significant part of Sikkim’s commitment to the National Programme for Civil Services Capacity Building (NPCSCB), popularly known as Mission Karmayogi, which seeks to build a future-ready and competency-driven civil service.
The programme began with a welcome address by Shri Mahesh Sharma, Director, ATI, who underscored the importance of digital learning and continuous capacity building in enhancing governance outcomes. The session was coordinated and hosted by Shri Nitin Chettri, Faculty, ATI.
The workshop witnessed active participation from Nodal Officers representing all departments of the Government of Sikkim. A distinguished team of resource persons from the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and Karmayogi Bharat, New Delhi provided expert guidance with the objective to ensure alignment with national standards The expert team included Ms. Soumi Banerjee, General Manager, Karmayogi Bharat; Ms. Priyamvada Pallavi, Assistant Manager, Karmayogi Bharat; and Ms. Shrestha Bansal, Programme Coordinator, Capacity Building Commission. Their inputs provided clarity on policy objectives and operational strategies, effectively bridging national vision with state-level implementation.
Designed as a practical and outcome-oriented programme, the workshop moved beyond conceptual discussions and offered hands-on training to facilitate seamless onboarding onto the iGOT platform. Participants were guided through key processes such as user registration, departmental onboarding, dashboard management, and synchronization within the digital learning ecosystem. Special emphasis was placed on curated competency-based learning pathways, enabling departments to identify and customize courses aligned with specific roles and functional responsibilities.
The initiative aims to promote competency-led governance by institutionalizing continuous professional development and real-time skill enhancement for government officials. By equipping Nodal Officers with both strategic understanding and technical proficiency, the workshop positions them as MDO (Ministry/Department/Organization) leaders spearheading Sikkim’s digital capacity-building transition.
The successful conduct of the workshop reflects the Government of Sikkim’s steadfast commitment to modernizing administrative systems and fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and citizen-centric service delivery.
