Due to heavy rainfall, a massive tree had fallen on the road from Melli–Aching towards Nambu, completely blocking the route and disrupting traffic. Upon receiving the information, the relief team under the leadership of Mr Jai Prakash, Commandant, 72nd Battalion, Shashstra Seema Bal (SSB), Yuksam reached the spot with necessary equipments and took immediate action to remove the tree and debris, thereby restoring the road for public use.
This commendable effort by the battalion received widespread appreciation from the local administration, residents, and travelers. Despite heavy rains and adverse conditions, the personnel not only cleared the route quickly but also ensured the safety of the affected people. Such service-oriented action, readiness, and humanitarian approach strengthen trust and cooperation within the community.
