36th Battalion SSB personnels participated in the Marathon Run under Drug-Free Society Campaign
Gyalshing, August 23: A 10 km marathon was organized by WeRise Foundation, Siliguri and DS TRADER under the Drugs Free Society Campaign. The main objective of the marathon was to create awareness among youth and the general public about a drug-free society and to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Personnel of 36th Battalion Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Gyalshing actively participated in the marathon along with local citizens. The SSB personnel conveyed a strong message against drug abuse through their participation and emphasized the need for collective efforts to build a drug-free and healthy society.
The programme successfully conveyed the message of “Drug-Free Society, Healthy Society” to the public. The participation of citizens and SSB personnel was enthusiastic and encouraging.
