Media and Intellectual Conclave in Gangtok
Gangtok, June 16(IPR): Media and Intellectual Conclave in the presence of Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise and Labour and Employment, Ms Shobha Karandlaje was organised at a local hotel, today.
In her address, the Union Minister of State, Ms Shobha Karandlaje, highlighted the various initiatives undertaken by the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi over the past 12 years. She also underscored the flagship programmes implemented in the State with the support of the Central Government. She elaborated on the vision and objectives of the Viksit Bharat 2047 initiative, emphasising its role in driving inclusive and sustainable development across the country. She further underscored the State's export potential and highlighted key initiatives aimed at promoting sectors such as medicinal plants, organic farming, and orchid cultivation, along with efforts to strengthen transportation and market access for these products.
Thereafter, a video presentation showcasing the achievements and initiatives of the Government led by Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi over the past 12 years, under the theme 12 Saal, Vishwas Ko, Vikas Ko, Jankalyan Ko, was screened.
Also present were, Minister, RDD & Cooperation Department, Mr Arun Upreti, State President, BJP, Mr DR Thapa, Entrepreneurs, Educationalists, SHGs, students and other dignitaries.
Earlier, the welcome address was presented by Mr Niren Bhandari and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by , Mr Sangay Gyatso Bhutia.
