Mangan, April 9 (IPR): The two-day training programme for Census 2027 for enumerators and supervisors of Kabi Subdivision got underway today at BAC Kabi.
The training programme was held in the presence of Charge Officer cum SDM Kabi, Ms Monika Rai, along with Additional Charge Officer cum BDO Kabi, Mr Tashi Wangyal Bhutia and Additional Charge Officer (Forest Block) cum Range Officer Mr Namgyal Bhutia and representative from Census Office.
The training was imparted by DCSO Mangan cum District Census Officer Mr Palden N Lachungpa.
The participants were imparted training on various aspects of house listing and housing census. Participants were equipped with the necessary skills and guidelines for accurate and efficient data collection.
The Census, being a crucial national exercise, plays a vital role in policy planning, resource allocation, and governance. Emphasis is being laid on ensuring that all field functionaries are well-trained and prepared to carry out their responsibilities in accordance with prescribed standards.
