Gangtok, November 26 (IPR): The Information & Public Relations Department conducted a training programme on AI and Digital Media at Soochna Bhawan, today.
The session was led by Mr Sorav Jain, an industry expert who has trained professionals from the Times of India, Hindustan Times, Deloitte, MSL India, Publicis Sapient, and several other renowned organisations. He is also the founder of Digital Scholar and has trained over five lakh students across the country.
During the programme, he introduced and demonstrated various AI tools and applications, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Nano Banana, Carousel Design, AIAgent, Notebook LM, QuillBot, SEMrush, Grok AI, Fireflies–Meeting AI, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, and VEO3.
His presentation was both informative and engaging, offering practical insights into the use of Artificial Intelligence in government communication, content creation, and digital outreach. The detailed guidance equipped participants with valuable knowledge on emerging digital tools and their relevance in day-to-day departmental work.
Officers from various departments along with officers and staff of the Information & Public Relations Department attended the training wherein they actively participated in discussions, contributing to a productive and interactive learning environment.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by SIA,IPRD, Ms Tashi Ongmu Bhutia.
