Special Intensive Revision 2026 : No Mapping Hearings Continue in Pakyong District

Pakyong, July 26 (IPR): Hearings under the No Mapping category, as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of the electoral rolls, continued across the Assembly Constituencies of Pakyong district today.

The hearings are being conducted at various locations across the district by the designated Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) and Additional Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AAEROs) to verify the eligibility of electors whose records require further scrutiny.

A total of 314 notice hearings were conducted across the district today.

The constituency-wise details are as follows:

18 West Pendam - No hearings

19 Rhenock - 81 hearings

20 Chujachen - 50 hearings

21 Gnathang-Machong - 138 hearings

22 Namcheybung - 45 hearings

Meanwhile, the issuance and distribution of notices to electors falling under the Logical Discrepancy category is also in progress to facilitate their appearance before the designated officers for verification during the hearing process.

The exercise forms part of the ongoing claims and objections process aimed at ensuring an accurate, transparent and inclusive electoral roll.
