SIR Observer Reviews Electoral Roll Hearings During Second Visit to Namchi
Namchi, August 11 (IPR): SIR Observer Mr Anil Raj Rai undertook his second visit to Namchi District today, to review the ongoing proceedings under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls.
During his visit, the Observer inspected the offices of the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of 11-Namchi-Singhithang, 10-Poklok-Kamrang, and 13- Namthang-Rateypani, along with the offices of the Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs).
He observed the hearing proceedings being conducted in connection with the SIR exercise and took stock of the progress being made at the respective levels.
The hearing process was found to be progressing smoothly across Namchi District, with the concerned EROs and AEROs ensuring that the proceedings are conducted in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and within the stipulated timeframe.
The Observer expressed satisfaction with the progress of the SIR-related proceedings and reiterated the importance of completing the exercise efficiently and within the specified schedule.
