In line with the visionary initiative of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) under the motto “Mero Rukh, Mero Santati ” and “Mero Bato, Mero Bot”, a successful plantation drive was conducted today at Dhapper, Yangang under the Sikkim Sishu Samriddhi Yojana.
In line with the visionary initiative of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang (Golay) under the motto “Mero Rukh, Mero Santati ” and “Mero Bato, Mero Bot”, a successful plantation drive was conducted today at Dhapper, Yangang under the Sikkim Sishu Samriddhi Yojana.
More than seven hundred saplings were planted with active participation from local residents and beneficiaries. Appreciation letters were also presented to 8 newly enrolled SSY families for their commitment towards environmental conservation and the future well-being of their children. Additionally, 22 SSY passbooks were distributed to beneficiaries.
The programme was graced by Hon'ble Deputy Speaker-cum-Area MLA Smt. Raj Kumari Thapa, Advisor to the Food Processing Industry Department Shri C.L. Gurung, Range Officer Shri Bednidi Regmi, Deputy Director Horticulture Dr. Hemant Ghimirey, SHO Yangang, Rangang Yangang GPU Panchayat members, Officials from the Forest Dept, local residents.
Together, we continue to work towards a greener, cleaner, and more prosperous Sikkim while securing a sustainable future for our children and communities.
