Gangtok, March 17 (IPR): The preparatory session for pitching of films and audio-visual content as part of the Sikkim International Film Festival 2026 was held in the office of Sikkim Film Promotion Board, Manan Kendra, today.
The day-long pitching preparatory session saw enthusiastic participation from aspiring and established local film makers, who shared their pitch to the Pitching Preview Committee comprising noted filmmakers Mr Prashant Rasaily, Mr Samten Bhutia and Mr Aaditya Cintury.
The participants presented various aspects like Logline, Synopsis, Treatment, Budget, Director’s statement and Vision board.
The pitching preparatory session saw meaningful engagement between the expert panel who provided valuable insights and guidance to help the participants fine tune their work for the SIFF Market scheduled for 20th and 21st March at Chintan Bhawan.
The Pitching Preview Committee expressed their satisfaction at the exercise and shared that the turnout of focused individuals serious about the art of filmmaking and storytelling was highly encouraging and a step in the right direction.
The one-day session was organised with active support from Chairman, Sikkim Film Promotion Board, Mr Tashi Tshering Bhutia, who was present during the session to lend his support and encouragement.
The one-day programme was facilitated by the Information and Public Relations Department with the active support of members of the film fraternity.
