P.U.L.S.E. Initiative Provides Seed Funding to Selected Entrepreneurs in Pakyong
Pakyong, March 30 (IPR): P.U.L.S.E. (Pakyong Unified Launch Support for Entrepreneurs) 2026 initiative of the District Administrative Centre, Pakyong under Sikkim INSPIRES, seed funding was disbursed to selected entrepreneurs at the Conference Hall of the District Administrative Centre (DAC), Pakyong, today.
The initiative aims to promote entrepreneurship by supporting innovative and promising ventures through financial assistance and mentorship. Following a structured selection process, shortlisted candidates presented their business pitches before a panel comprising District Collector, Pakyong, Mr Rohan Agawane and Additional District Collector, Pakyong, Mr Pulkit.
Based on predefined evaluation criteria, the participants were categorised into two groups—Innovation & Scale Oriented Ventures and Promising Ventures. Under Category I, four selected entrepreneurs were awarded seed funding of ₹2 lakhs each, while under Category II, seven entrepreneurs received ₹1 lakh each.
It may be mentioned that all selected participants will also be provided with mentorship support through collaboration with digital nomads at Yakten Village, Pakyong, to further strengthen their business initiatives and ensure sustainable growth.
