Minister Tshering T Bhutia hoisted Tricolour at SDM Office, Yuksam
Gyalshing, August 15 (IPR):
The Minister for Tourism & Civil Aviation and Commerce & Industries Department-cum-area MLA, Mr Tshering T Bhutia, hoisted the National Flag at the premises of the SDM Office, Yuksam, early this morning in the presence of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mr CS Limboo, and other subdivision officials.
The brief ceremony included the hoisting of the tricolour, a salute to the National Flag, and floral tributes to the freedom fighters.
In his brief address, the Minister extended warm greetings on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day on behalf of the State Government and highlighted key developmental initiatives undertaken in the state.
Dignitaries present included Advisor to the State Medicinal Plants Board Mr NB Limboo, Zilla Adakshya Gyalshing Mr DS Limboo, SDM Yuksam Mr CS Limboo, BDO Yuksam, Mr SM Limboo, and other officials of Yuksam Subdivision.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the SDM Yuksam and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the BDO Yuksam.
