Pakyong, May 31 (IPR): The distribution of Enumeration Forms (EFs) under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Phase III – 2026 is progressing steadily across Pakyong District, with election officials intensifying house-to-house visits to ensure comprehensive electoral roll revision.
According to the latest Enumeration Form Tracking Report as on May 31, 2026, a total of 109 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) have been deployed for the exercise across AC-18 West Pendam, AC-19 Rhenock, AC-20 Chujachen, AC-21 Gnathang-Machong, and AC-22 Namcheybung in Pakyong District.
The district currently covers a total of 83,111 electors, out of which 12,310 Enumeration Forms have been distributed till date, with efforts by field officials to reach every household under the ongoing revision exercise.
In AC-18 West Pendam, AC-19 Rhenock, AC-20 Chujachen, AC-21 Gnathang-Machong, and AC-22 Namcheybung, BLOs are engaged in door-to-door distribution and verification work to ensure eligible voters are included and elector details are updated accurately.
Officials informed that the exercise is being carried out in a systematic manner, with special attention being given to remote and geographically challenging areas to ensure no eligible elector is left out. Daily monitoring and tracking of progress are also being undertaken by the district election machinery for timely completion of the enumeration process.
The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 aims to strengthen the accuracy and transparency of electoral rolls by facilitating correction, updation, and inclusion of eligible electors. Citizens have been urged to cooperate with Booth Level Officers during house-to-house visits and provide correct information for seamless completion of the revision process.
The district administration has reiterated its commitment to ensuring smooth implementation of the exercise, while appealing to the public to actively participate in the democratic process by supporting the ongoing enumeration drive.
