Har Ghar Tiranga March Held in Pakyong
Pakyong, August 15 (IPR): As part of the 80th Independence Day celebrations, a Har Ghar Tiranga March was organised in Pakyong District today.
The march was led by District Collector, Pakyong, Mrs Pari Bishnoi, in the presence of Superintendent of Police, Pakyong, Mr Tshering Sherpa. The Additional District Collector (HQ); Additional District Collector (Development); Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Heads of Offices and officials and staff from various departments of the Pakyong District Administration also participated in the march.
The participants carried the National Flag and marched together from DAC Pakyong to Community Hall Pakyong to mark Independence Day and promote the message of national unity and respect for the Tricolour.
The march formed part of the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, which encourages citizens to display the National Flag at their homes and participate in activities commemorating Independence Day.
The event also provided an opportunity for the officers and staff of the district administration to come together and observe Independence Day while remembering the contributions and sacrifices made during India’s freedom struggle.
The march concluded with the participants reaffirming their commitment to the values of the Constitution and to serving the people and contributing to the development of the district and the nation.
