Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Arrives in Sikkim on Three-Day Official Visit


Gangtok, January 11 (IPR):

Lieutenant General Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik, PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd), Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, arrived in Sikkim today on a three-day official visit from January 11 to January 13, 2026.

The Governor arrived at Burtuk Helipad this afternoon, where he was received by Mr John Gurung, Joint Secretary, Home (Protocol); Mr Tshering Norgyal Theeng, ADC, Gangtok; Mr Pravin Lamichaney Additional SP Gangtok, Mr Ajay Gurung, APO Protocol, Mr Gopal Pathak, APO, Home Department cum Liaison Officer to the Governor along with officials from the Black Cat Division. He was thereafter escorted to Lok Bhavan, Gangtok.

During his visit, the Governor will participate in the Raising Day celebrations of Headquarters 17 Mountain Division, interact with senior Army officials, and attend a series of official engagements in Gangtok.

The Governor is accompanied by Mr Pawan Kumar Saini, IAS, Commissioner to the Governor; Major Satyam Pant, ADC to the Governor; and other senior officers and security personnel.
