Pakyong, March 26 (IPR): On the fourth day of filing of nominations for the forthcoming General Municipal Election 2026 under Pakyong District, the nomination process continued at the District Administrative Centre (DAC), Pakyong, today.
The first nomination papers was filed by Ms Sancha Maya Tamang of Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) for 05 Dikling–Chalamthang Ward under Pakyong Nagar Panchayat at the office of the Assistant Municipal Returning Officer-cum-Additional District Collector, Pakyong, Mr Pulkit.
Upon filing her nomination, the candidate was administered the oath of affirmation by the AMRO.
The nomination process is currently underway and is being conducted from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and will continue until March 30, 2026, including public holidays on March 27 and 28.
