Pakyong, April 08(IPR): The Ambassador of France to India, Mr Thierry Mathou, arrived in Sikkim today as part of his official visit to the state from April 8 to 12. He is accompanied by his spouse, Mrs Cécil Mathou.
On his arrival at the Rangpo Tourist Facilitation Centre (TIC), the Ambassador was warmly received by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Rangpo, Mrs Sujata Subba; Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rangpo, Mr Sameer Pradhan; District Tourism Officer (DTO) Pakyong, Mrs Sushma Pradhan; along with officials and staff of the Rangpo TIC.
During his visit, the Ambassador will undertake a series of engagements aimed at cultural exchange and strengthening bilateral ties.
