Namchi,11 September (IPR) : Following the completion of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, the final elector count for the seven Assembly Constituencies (ACs) under Namchi District has been finalised.
At 9-Barfung Constituency, the total number of electors prior to the SIR process was 16,375. Following the revision, the final elector count stood at 15,055, with 1,320 electors deleted.
At 10-Poklok-Kamrang Constituency, the pre-SIR elector count was 16,953, which stood at 15,763 after completion of the SIR process. A total of 1,190 electors were deleted.
At 11-Namchi-Singhithang Constituency, the total number of electors before the SIR process was 13,530. The final count after the revision was 11,939 , with 1,591 electors deleted.
At 12-Melli Constituency, the pre-SIR elector count was 16,210, while the final count following the SIR process stood at 14,975, with 1,226 electors deleted.
At 13-Namthang-Rateypani Constituency, the total number of electors before the SIR process was 16,594. Following the revision, the final elector count stood at 15,195 with 1,399 electors deleted.
At 14-Temi-Namphing Constituency, the total number of electors stood at 15,549 prior to the SIR process and was reduced to 13,701 following the revision, with 1,848 electors deleted.
At 15-Rangang-Yangang Constituency, the total number of electors before the SIR process was 15,449, while the final count stood at 14,140 following the revision, with 1,309 electors deleted.
Accordingly, Namchi District, comprising seven Assembly Constituencies, had a total of 110,651 electors prior to the SIR process. Following the completion of the SIR, the final elector count stood at 100, 768 with a total of 9883 electors deleted.
