District IEIAP Implementation Team Meeting Held at Gyalshing.

Gyalshing, 02 July (IPR):

DIIT (District IEIAP Implementation Team) meeting was held at the Conference Hall of District Administrative Centre, Gyalshing, today.

The meeting saw the presence of Ms Rohini Pradhan, PD, Sikkim Inspires; Ms Tripti Hangma Subba, ADC(HQ) cum District Project Manager(DPM) Sikkim Inspires; Ms Rajani Sharma, Nodal Officer, Sikkim Inspires; Mr Swabhaw Gurung, Joint Secretary, Sikkim Inspires; Mr Deo Kumar Tamang, JD(A), Sikkim Inspires; Mr Gyan Prasad Sharma, TSA-RDD; Ms Ojaswi Khakhlari, TSA-RDD; along with APMs of all interventions and representatives from different departments.

The meeting reviewed the overall progress and clarification of implementation related issues under IEIAP programme across the district.

Further, different interventions like Off Farm Value Chain, Green SHG and Souvenir, Community Based Tourism (CBT), Skilling, Infrastructure intervention, IEIAP Team Strengthening along with targets and budget for the year 2026-27 were discussed in length.

Awareness regarding SIKKIM INSPIRES, different opportunities to eliminate unemployment and different interventions to be carried out were discussed under the intervention Awareness and Sensitisation.

Various action points were discussed to ensure timely execution of activities and improved coordination among all stakeholders.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to strengthen the implementation and financial utilisation of IEIAP programme across Gyalshing district.

Later, the State Sikkim Inspires team also visited HEE-PUL for revival of community tourism facility. The team was accompanied by Mr Say Say Hang, Panchayat President, 27 Hee GPU, DPM, APMs and relevant officers from concerned departments.
