Soreng, January 29 (IPR): District Collector Soreng, Mr Dhiraj Subedi conducted a detailed inspection of the newly constructed District Administrative Centre (DAC) building at Soreng, today.
The District Collector reviewed various sections of the building, including the DC’s office along with the adjoining pantry, offices of the Additional District Collector (ADC) and Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), Superintendent of Police (SP) office, infirmary, Election office, warehouse, parking lot, driver's room and washrooms.
During the inspection, the DC enquired about the facilities provided in the pantry and directed that basic amenities be ensured. He further suggested necessary modifications in the functional offices, emphasising that timely changes at this stage would be beneficial and help avoid further alterations in the future.
Present during the inspection were ADC (Soreng) Mr DR Bista, SDM (HQ) Mr Prem K Subba, SDM (Soreng) Ms Sakchum Lepcha, AE (Buildings & Housing Department) Mr Rakesh Sharma, JE (Buildings & Housing Department) Ms Sarita Subba along with site engineers.
